Description:

We are looking for a driven, organized and highly relational leader to join our team and make it happen. Sitting on the sidelines is not an option. We need a true go-getter. This role requires courage, strategy, heart, organization and strong collaboration. This person will work on our regional team and be responsible for directing fundraising efforts including a five-year funding campaign that will triple our impact with students. We are looking for someone with demonstrated success, teachability and outstanding people skills. The position is currently part-time, but we are open to full-time for the right person.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute resource development plans to originate new major gifts, foundations and corporate relationships.
  • Work alongside our leadership team and board members to coordinate outstanding relationship centered engagement, funding asks and world-class thanking.
  • Manage and achieve the team’s annual revenue goal.
  • Own and drive the $9M/5YR campaign and achieve annual revenue goals.
  • Work the donor list daily to cultivate new relationships and grow our database.
  • Develop relationships with new donors through existing donors, personal network and attendance at appropriate events.
  • Conduct research and provide reports on both existing and new caseload donors.
  • Build authentic, trust-based and collaborative relationships with regional field staff. AND work with local Young Life directors to help them cultivate major donors and present cohesive asks, including the regional campaign.
  • Maintain a Christ-like presence as an ambassador for Young Life.

  • Ability to cast vision and inspire donor confidence in Young Life.
  • Experience and demonstrated success in cultivating high-capacity donors.
  • Ability to generate substantial annual revenue.
  • Strong marketing and communications skills.
  • Experience in working with senior leaders.
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative staff and board relationships/partnerships across organizational lines.
  • Track record of solid organization/CRM management.

Desired Outcomes Over Three Years:

Lead fundraising efforts, utilizing our leadership team and board, to accomplish the following:

Year 1

  • Total goal of $3m committed toward $9m campaign (currently at $1.75M).
  • Cultivate $1m in new giving to Young Life.

Year 2

  • Total of $6m committed toward $9m campaign.
  • Cultivate $1m in new giving to Young Life.

Year 3

  • Total goal of $9m committed toward $9m campaign.
  • Cultivate $1m in new giving to Young Life.
