i100 Project Manager (Part-Time)

Mission & Authority

This position is responsible for project management for the i100 Program. The i100 Program works with executive level leaders to help them equip their staff and volunteers to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow deeper in their faith. This position will work collaboratively with the i100 Program Coordinator and the Architecture Team to accomplish i100 objectives.

​Essential Duties:

Spiritual Development - “Following Jesus” includes prayer and spiritual disciplines, fellowship, growth and health, and church relationships.

Finances:

  • Paying vendors using Workday.
  • Paying Hong Kong Vendors partnering with HKYL if needed
  • Tracking event expenses
  • Internal transfers if other cost centers make payments

Communication:

  • Writing and sending all pre-event emails
  • Managing translation of emails, curriculum, workbook and live translation.
  • Help with Hong Kong event communications used at the event: PowerPoints, Workbooks, Signage, name tags, etc
  • Tracking event registration

Travel:

  • Working with Visa Support People to keep track of visas
  • Collecting and organizing flight information
  • Working with the hotel to confirm numbers for room assignments and meals.

Administrative:

  • Scheduling meetings
  • Order SWAG

Events planning:

  • Work as part of the ground team
  • Act as a guest services person with the participants
  • Coordinate with the PIMs Hosts
  • Lead audio visual team.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree and experience consistent with organizational preparation for a program of this magnitude. ​

Experience Required for the Job

  • Experience communicating with multiple cultures and languages.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with 55-60 wpm.
  • Excel experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must multi-task assigned projects to completion.
  • Able to observe confidentiality.
  • Must be customer-service oriented, maintaining a warm, positive, personable manner with flexibility.
  • Problem-solve with people such that all parties are cared for and heard.
  • Self-starter, with ability to work independently and on teams; strong history of initiative and completing projects.
  • Familiar with Young Life’s Workday System.
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Familiarity with event planning and oversight of major events.
  • Administrative history plus leadership with varieties of department heads and/or senior leaders.
  • Project management experience.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and demonstrated history with multi-country scheduling matters.
