I love being a missionary to kids. What a privilege to introduce them to the One who loves them more than they can imagine.

U.S. Field Staff

The U.S. field is made up of areas, regions and divisions:

The local area is the front line of Young Life’s outreach to kids. The area director oversees the work and may be assisted by other staff like associate area directors, staff associates, focus ministry coordinators and area administrators.
A group of these areas in geographic proximity make up a region. Each regional office consists of a regional director and administrator, who serve the areas through leadership and organization.
A cluster of regions compose a division. Each of our six U.S. divisions fall under the leadership of a senior vice president, assisted by a divisional administrator, who come alongside regions in their service to the local area work.

We work in a beautiful place for a beautiful cause – so kids can come here and experience the love of God.

Camping

A Young Life camp is no ordinary place.

All camps share a common purpose: creating an environment where Young Life staff help make Christ tangible by creatively presenting the complete gospel of God's love. Speaking clearly from the Scriptures, camp speakers introduce kids to the person of Christ, the nature of humanity, the work of Christ on the cross, the hope of the resurrection and the opportunity for reconciliation with God.
In Camping we have a variety of opportunities from administrators to maintenance, chefs to guest services and many more! Young Life Camping happens all across the globe. We own properties across the U.S., and internationally in Canada, Nicaragua, Armenia, the Dominican Republic and more!

It’s an honor to use my talents working behind the scenes so our staff in the field can reach more kids.

Mission Services

Providing essential services to field staff and volunteers.

Offering this support frees field staff for direct ministry with kids, optimizes financial contributions, and ensures careful stewardship of the mission's assets (both tangible and intangible).
We have lots of opportunities at Mission Services. Most of these positions are located at the Young Life Service Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Serving at camp was the greatest month of my life!

Volunteer Opportunities

At Home

We are extremely thankful for our Young Life volunteers, who are the backbone of the mission. Whether it’s working directly with young people as volunteer leaders, serving on the local adult committee or helping out in some other capacity, we have many different opportunities in need of your unique abilities, experience and passion. Your involvement helps us reach more kids with the good news of God’s love.

At Camp

Young Life camps depend on an army of volunteers to ensure campers have the best week of their lives. For high school students involved with Young Life, month-long work crew assignments involve hard work, a great experience with peers and a chance to grow in your faith. Summer staff positions offer the same opportunities for college students. And our infirmaries depend on the generosity of doctors and nurses who spend a week serving as camp physicians.
YoungLives camps for teen moms and their children and Capernaum camps for kids with disabilities both offer unique volunteer opportunities as well.
