Area Director (Urban/ME Ministry) — Charlotte, NC

Description:

Charlotte is in the top 25 largest cities in the U.S. In our large city there is music, sports, entertainment, greenways, art, culture, and great food. Another advantage of living in a large city is the diversity. Diversity of race, economics, food, culture, personalities, passions, etc.

In an effort to have Young Life throughout the entire city, Charlotte has a unified metro structure within Young Life. Charlotte Urban as a Young Life area is under the umbrella of the metro structure. There is currently active ministry at multiple high schools that fall under this area, an HBCU campus, as well as a ministry to young adults who are not currently college bound. The area has been built to strategically minister to lower socioeconomic neighborhoods and communities around Charlotte.
