CAPERNAUM COORDINATOr (Part-Time) — Newtown, PA

Description:

Young Life Capernaum, which started in 1986, is an outreach and discipleship ministry of Young Life to teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Capernaum is an international, ecumenical, Christian organization that gives young people (high school to age 22) with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem through club, camp, and other exciting adventures.

Bucks County is a suburb of Philadelphia, with Newtown located approximately 40 minutes northeast of the city. Bucks County also sits directly next to the Delaware River, which separates Pennsylvania from New Jersey, which is why Bucks County falls in the Garden State Region. Newtown has a strong committee that wants to see kids of all ages and ability levels be introduced to Jesus and to grow in their faith. We are searching for a Capernaum coordinator who can help launch Capernaum ministry in the Greater Newtown area. We believe that Capernaum ministry is vital in us fulfilling our mission of reaching every kid, and a Capernaum coordinator will be vital in allowing us to do that.
