direct ministry or area director — york city, pa

Mission & Authority

Through spiritual leadership and proper management, lead in developing a team in the area to carry out Young Life’s mission of introducing kids to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.

Description:

Young Life has operated in York County for 45 years and specifically in York City for the last 16 years. The local and regional Young Life teams are working together to broaden our reach within this important area. We are now ready to hire a staff person who is able to pioneer new ministry by working directly with kids, and recruiting, training and deploying others to join that endeavor.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who is a leader and team player. The person in this role will have her or his own ministry area to develop while also working closely with the existing metro director, YoungLives coordinator and committee team.

Applicants should be ready to demonstrate their experience with leading effective Young Life ministry, desire to reach kids with the gospel, capability to manage their own schedule, and ability to prioritize tasks in order to accomplish challenging goals.
