Do you love Jesus and working with high school students? Connect with us! This is an amazing part-time job opportunity overseeing Young Life at West Holmes High School. This position will be trained and encouraged by the local staff alongside regional and national resources. Approximately eight to 10 hours a week. The candidate must place her or his relationship with Jesus as most important and have a heart for sharing the Gospel with adolescents.

Young Life has operated in Tuscarawas and Holmes Counties for more than three decades. This is a wonderful opportunity to help write the next chapter of the 30-year story God has been writing in this area, ministering to adolescents and building a solid team that will help ensure many more years of ministry to kids in small town Ohio!

Responsibilities:

Spiritual/Personal Development

• Live as a leader who relies on prayer and spiritual disciplines for the sake of his or her own relationship with Jesus and the area’s ministry.
• Connect and participate with a healthy Christ-centered, local church body.
• Invite mentors and accountability relationships as part of your personal walk with Jesus.

Direct Ministry

• Develop mentoring relationships with high school students.
• Share the Gospel and connect students to local churches.
• Build and participate in a local club ministry.

Leadership Development

• Develop, lead and support a team of volunteers.
• Work alongside the area director to cast vision, supervise and equip your team members.

Resource Development

• Lead and grow Young Life in the West Holmes community.
• Build trusting and professional relationships with adults in the community including donors, parents and adult leaders. Be willing to appropriately solicit their support.
• Raise personal financial support for a portion of the salary.

• Loves Jesus and has a heart to share the Gospel with adolescents.
• Gifted as a team builder.
• A teachable spirit willing to learn and grow.
• Good communicator.
