Description:
Located just 13 miles west of Chicago and sharing a parking lot with the Brookfield Zoo, Riverside-Brookfield High School (RBHS) celebrates its uniqueness and diversity. RBHS is a smaller school with just more than 1,600 students. Three middle schools feed into the high school each from one of three communities that make up Riverside-Brookfield, and all fall within a one mile radius — North Riverside, Riverside and Brookfield, each town different and with a unique make-up.
Young Life began in Riverside-Brookfield 15 years ago when four high school students jumped on the bus to summer camp with a group from Lyons Township High School. Their area director had vision for reaching students in their neighboring town, and Riverside-Brookfield Young Life was born as a result.
