Young Life is actively seeking a highly motivated, spiritually mature, and experienced individual to fill the role of Area Director II or III in the vibrant and growing community of Bozeman, Montana. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct all aspects of Young Life's ministry operations in the Bozeman area, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
  • Engage in strategic planning and implementation to grow the ministry's reach and effectiveness among local youth.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage staff and volunteers to create a dynamic and supportive team environment.
  • Build and nurture partnerships with local schools, churches, and community organizations.
  • Oversee fundraising efforts, including the personal responsibility to raise $60,000 in support to fund ministry initiatives and operations.
  • Plan and execute Young Life activities, camps, and outreach events, creating meaningful and engaging experiences for youth.
  • Manage the area's budget, financial planning, and resource allocation efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a heart for youth ministry.
  • Significant leadership experience in a ministry or nonprofit setting, with proven ability in team management, strategic planning, and community engagement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to fundraise and mobilize resources for ministry purposes.
  • Recommend 3-6 years of staff experience
