Description:

The Tomball-Magnolia area is seeking to hire a staff associate to lead ministry in Magnolia, Texas. The area currently has healthy ministry at Tomball High School and Magnolia West High School. This staff associate will be leading the ministry at Magnolia West and working alongside the area director who serves at Tomball High School.

There is a rich tradition of Young Life in the area and a strong local committee to support the staff. This is a growing area outside of Houston with opportunities to develop ministry in neighboring high schools and middle schools.

Responsibilities:

• Personal spiritual health and a vital relationship with Christ.
• Develop community and spiritually care for a team.
• Build healthy working relationships with school administration, campus ministers and the community.
• Participate in and lead dynamic direct ministry (contact work, club, Campaigners and camp).
• Work with the area committee in area fundraising and grow a personal donor base each year.
• Attend regional and area training and events.

Qualifications:

• A deep and growing faith in God.
• A passion for reaching lost adolescents and calling others to that mission.
• Ability to build, train, recruit and grow diverse teams of people (student leaders, adult leaders and committee members).
• A philosophy and history of discipling others.
• A vision and plan to grow current ministries in reaching kids, leaders, committee and parents.
• A servant leader who is teachable, innovative, collaborative and flexible.
• Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills as it pertains to donors and parents of kids.
