WyldLife Director — Orlando, FL

Description:

Could you be the first ever WyldLife director in Orlando, Fla.? Our middle school ministries in the Heart of Orlando area are strong, energetic, and full of opportunity. We are seeking to grow WyldLife across Orlando and continue fostering the incredible community these teens have built through Campaigners, camp, club, and time spent with volunteer leaders. Kids and parents are eager for more – and we want to give them more!

The area has Young Life ministry in three high schools (Winter Park High, Edgewater High, Lake Highland Prep), two WyldLife clubs (Winter Park, College Park), and potential for much more. Middle school ministry currently focuses on Audubon K-8 School, Glenridge Middle, Howard Middle, and College Park Middle, with hope to expand to both Maitland Middle School and Lake Highland Prep in the near future. We have a steady leader pipeline through the University of Central Florida and plan to also continue recruiting young professional career leaders as well as parents. The local board/committee is ready to welcome a new staff person with a boat tour of our beautiful area.

The WyldLife director would work closely with a number of nearby staff in our metro area and oversee a group of leaders ranging from high school students to middle-aged adults.
