What's the job and what we’re looking for.

We seek a visionary, entrepreneurial, innovative and self-starting leader with a passion for Christ and youth, who will take advantage of existing ministry opportunities, develop volunteers, and harness the historical strength and passion for Young Life in this area to lead us into a new era of dynamic ministry.

Responsibilities:

  • Build community among students and the leadership team.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors.
  • Get involved in local schools and neighborhoods to meet kids “on their turf.”
  • Lead weekly outreach events and Bible studies.
  • Recruit and train volunteers to do ministry alongside you.

Qualifications:

  • Deep, abiding faith in Jesus Christ and love for people.
  • Passionate about high school kids.
  • Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
  • Proven successful leadership and team building skills.
  • Self-starter.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills, especially as it pertains to parents and adults.
