Description:

We are seeking to build a WyldLife ministry in San Jose. In addition to building relationships with kids and sharing the Gospel with them, this job will also involve building connections with parents in different school communities, building and growing a volunteer team, and bringing awareness of WyldLife to the San Jose community. This position requires a deep love and trust for Jesus and being a self-starter with a desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

• Spiritual Formation: Following Jesus, including prayer and spiritual disciplines, fellowship, growth and health, and church relationships.
• Leadership Development: Equipping leaders, committee, and staff with volunteer and donor care, recruiting, team building/training, supervision, and vision casting.
• Direct Ministry: Contact work, club, Campaigners, and camp.
• Ministry Support: Accounting, administration, communication, data management, and strategic plan.

Qualifications:

• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• A heart for diverse ministry and outreach to other schools, private, and public.
• Self-starter, high energy, innovative.
• Leadership skills that allow for collaboration with board members, the community, and volunteers.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• College degree preferred but not required.
