Staff Associate I — San Francisco, CA

Description:

We are looking for a flexible self-starter to join our awesome team of full-time and part-time staff members already serving passionately in San Francisco (SF). Although actually a bit smaller than its famous “7-by-7” moniker, San Francisco is a diverse, urban city whose public school system includes 15 high schools and 13 middle schools. Young Life is currently active in about a quarter of those schools, and we hope to expand our ministry in the coming year. We have a heart especially for low-income communities and students of color, and we work hard to connect to the various corners of our beloved city and the many cultures they hold.

The ideal candidate would be willing to be adaptable and ready to dive in and learn about SF as a whole and in particular the schools and the part of the city in which she or he would be working. Young Life San Francisco has been a multiethnic youth ministry since the 1970s, and whoever joins our team would share in our goal of reaching every kid in the city with the good news of Jesus.
