Younglives Divisional Coordinator — Midwestern division(Part-Time)

Description:

The YoungLives Divisional Coordinator-Midwestern Division serves to develop, grow, and sustain YoungLives in partnership with the VP of YoungLives, the Senior Vice President of the division, Regional Directors, and YoungLives Regional Coordinators in the midwest. The geography of this division includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

  • Proven relational skills with both adolescents and adults.

  • Desire and ability to recruit and develop diverse teams and lead across diverse communities.
  • Past or current involvement in local or regional YoungLives ministry preferred.
  • A history of collaborative leadership.
  • Proven strategic planning and leadership skills.
  • Strong commitment and vision to reach every kid.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a group.
  • Ability to travel as the job requires.

Responsibilities:

  • Model, support and establish YoungLives ministry through staff development, resource development, and strategic planning as part of a national YoungLives team.
  • Collaborate with regional directors and area directors in developing strategic and sustainable plans for YoungLives to begin and encourage new ministry.
  • Partner with regional directors to recruit, train, and support regional and area YoungLives coordinators.
  • Build community among YoungLives regional coordinators and other YoungLives staff and volunteers in the division.
  • Assist in equipping all staff and volunteers in the division with resources and training for Diversity, Equity, and Belonging.
  • Build and manage YoungLives year-round camping initiatives for outreach and discipleship with teen parents.

Training:

  • Actively participate and lead in missionwide and divisional YoungLives trainings.
  • Attend divisional staff times and retreats.
  • Pursue continuing education or training seminars to enhance professional skills.
  • Participate in programs designed for personal spiritual maturity or enrichment.

Education:

  • College Degree Preferred

Notes:

  • This is a part-time position.
  • This position can be remote within the midwestern division (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin).
