Description:

A full-time/part-time area director (high school, middle school) to lead new and growing ministries in South West Ada. If you are looking to grow God’s kingdom, this is the place to do it! Responsibilities:

• Develop, lead, and execute the area’s fundraising strategy and ensure excellence in communication to donors.
• Lead people in our community by maintaining your own healthy relationship with Jesus.
• Hire, lead, and train field staff when it comes time.
• Help lead a leadership pipeline for multiple Young Life ministries.
• Model excellence in all areas of the job description and execution of Young Life’s 5 C’s (club, Campaigners, camp, contact work, committee) — especially contact work — as well as create a vision/standard for the rest of the area.

Qualifications:

• Deep love for Christ, as well as kids and young adults.
• Love for the mission of Young Life and the incarnational relationship-based approach.
• Be a highly motivated self-starter [hunger, humility, and hustle].
• Excellent at casting vision and inviting others into the mission of what God is doing in Idaho.
• Former Young Life experience.
• Proven relational and leadership skills with youth and adults.
• Proficiency in recruiting, training, and leading adults.
• Fundraising ability.
• Theological strength to lead through complicated issues.
• Bachelor's degree.
